Lititz Attractions
In Lititz, 8 miles / 13 km north of Lancaster, are the Candy Americana Museum and Candy Outlet (48 North Broad Street) and the Sturgis Pretzel House (219 Main Street), the oldest pretzel bakery in the United States (1784).
Candy Americana Museum
The Candy Americana Museum began in 1972 with Penny Buzzard's collection of 1000 varieties of molds, tins, and boxes. All phases of the candy industry, including manufacturing, packaging, and advertising are featured in the museum.

Grave of General John A Sutter
The grave is located in the Moravian Cemetery, John Sutter lived in Lititz while battling Congress to receive compensation for the California land. Sutter was known as the founder of Sacramento California.
Heritage Map Museum
The Heritage Map Museum is a small gallery that houses more than 100 original maps from the 15th to 19th century as well as map prints.
Johannes Mueller House
Built in 1792, this home has been restored and is completely furnished with period items. It is named for the local tanner and dyer, Johannes Mueller.
Lititz Historical Foundation
The Lititz Historical Foundation preserves and restores historical buildings in and around Lititz.

Sturgis Pretzel House
The first pretzel bakery in the United States was said to have been started by Julius Sturgis in 1861. Pretzels are still baked in the 200-year-old ovens.
