Packwood House Museum began as a two-story log cabin completed in 1799. Now a 27-room house, it served as a tavern and hotel throughout most of the 19th century. Exhibits through Packwood House belong to the collection of Edith and John Fetherston. Items on display include glass, ceramics, textiles, furniture, paintings, Pennsylvania German decorative arts, and Oriental art.

Originally Bucknell Art Gallery, the name changed again in 2001 to the Samek Art Gallery; as a result of a generous gift from Edward and Marthann Samek. The permanent collection, numbers approximately 8,000 objects. The Andrew J. Sordoni Collection of Japanese art which includes 500 objects, mostly 19th century netsuke, okimono, and inro boxes.

Slifer House Museum is an example of Victorian architecture, designed by Samuel Sloan. It was built for Eli Slifer, Secretary of Pennsylvania during the Civil War. Victorian furnishings and decorative arts are on display.
