Huntingdon is located near Raystown Lake, the largest manmade lake within Pennsylvania. Recreational opportunities are available such as hunting, boating, swimming and fishing.
Juniata College was founded in 1876, and it has grown to 1,400 students. The library has a collection of Pennsylvania-German printed materials. The Juniata College Museum of Art has paintings, photographs and prints on display.

Lincoln Caverns was first discovered in 1930 and the crystal caverns have been preserved to display a variety of formations. The many passageways and rooms lead visitors to massive flowstones, delicate stalactites, pure white calcite and sparkling crystals.

Restored antique automobiles are on display including the 1899 Locomobile, a 1904 Cadillac rear entrance tonneau, 1905 Rambler and 1904 Franklin. The collection has many rare and one-of-a-kind vehicles. There are many name and license plates that tell a story of registration through the years.
