Childventure has created hands-on exhibits designed around thematic environments'. Exhibits include artifacts from a wide variety of cultures, helping to expand children's view of our world.
The Highlands Estate features the Georgian manor, completed in 1801 for Quaker Anthony Morris, as well as a two-story octagonal springhouse, an icehouse and a three-level stone barn. A 2-acre walled garden with statuary, reflecting pools and a Gothic Revival cottage are also featured.

Two time periods are represented at Hope Lodge, the first is 1743 to 1770 which represent the time of the first owner and builder, Samuel Morris. The other time period is that of William and Alice Degn, from 1922 to 1953, the last private owners.
The Colonial Revival gardens and grounds of the mansion can also be visited.
