Bellefonte Attractions
Bellefonte was built on several hills at the base of Bald Eagle Mountain. Many of the homes are early Victorian architecture.
Big Spring State Park
Big Spring State Park was named for the spring that forms Shermans Creek. Big Spring discharges about fourteen thousand gallons of water each minute and the temperature remains about 50 degrees Fahrenheit. There is opportunity for picnicking and hiking.
Fisherman's Paradise
Supervised fly fishing is offered with a state fishing license and fish must be released. A fish hatchery is also featured.
