Hoover Tower Description
After the First World War Stanford University became the home of the library now known as the Hoover Institution, the nucleus of which was formed by the Hoover Collection and which is devoted mainly to the themes of war, revolution and peace. It is housed in the 280ft/85m tall Hoover Tower. Another landmark of the university is the library tower (Green Library).
