Palermo - Senatorial Palace / Municipio
The south side of the Piazza Pretoria in Palermo is taken up by the Senatorial Palace, now the City Hall. The original building dates from 1463; it was altered in the Baroque period, as exemplified by Carlo d'Apriles' figure of St Rosalia (1661), and the present facade was built by G. D. Almeyda in 1875.
