Oyster Bay - Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park
Planting Fields is 409 landscaped acres of greenhouses, gardens and natural habitat, the former estate of Standard Oil heiress Mai Rogers Coe and William Robertson Coe. Some of the collections include rhododendrons, azaleas, orchids, ferns and bromeliads. The Camellia Greenhouse and the Main Greenhouse at Planting Fields feature unique seasonal displays.
