The Canadian Ministry of Agriculture's Central Experimental Farm, on the southwestern edge of the town, dates back to the 1920s. Attached to it is a farming museum, showing farming as it was in the past, and also providing guided tours of the kitchen-gardens, seedbeds and arboretum.
