Oslo - Contemporary Music Festival

This annual week-long festival takes place in mid-October and includes daily events ranging from operas, to orchestral and chamber concerts to recitals. At least 13 musical institutions collaborate to organize the festival every year.

An international competition for new orchestral works is also part of the festival, and draws highly-acclaimed composers and musicians from all over the world.
