Orlando - Loch Haven Park

The Orlando Museum of Art contains a permanent collection of 19th and 20th century American art along with African and pre-Colombian artifacts.

The post 1945 American Art collection includes such names as John Singer Sargent, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Ansel Adams, among others. The Contemporary American Graphics Collection is also quite interesting, displaying lithographs, etchings, silk-screen prints and woodcuts, and includes such names as Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg, and Ed Ruscha.

In addition to the permanent collection the museum also features rotating or traveling exhibits and special art programs for children.

The Orlando Science Center showcases several branches of science from mechanics to biology and applied technology. There are all kinds of themed exhibits. Among the top favorites is "Kids Town". There are also laser shows and large format films at the Dr. Phillips CineDome. Kids Town is available to children under 48 inches tall with stimulating interactive exhibits.

In addition to the exhibit galleries the Science Center also presents touring exhibits from across the country.
