The town of Klamath Falls (pop. 19,500) is located on the south shore of Upper Klamath Lake in south central Oregon. The town is an excellent base to explore the surrounding region. Within a two hour drive are Crater Lake, Mount Shasta, and Lava Beds National Park. The area is also home to a large number of wintering bald eagles.
