The town of Brownsville (pop. 1,450) is located in west central Oregon and was established in the 1850's. It is home to numerous historic buildings.
Linn County Historical Museum
The Linn County Museum in Brownsville is located in the town's original railway depot. It is composed of an 1890's railroad depot and eight boxcars which house lively exhibits of early Oregon life.

Living Rock Studio Museum
The Living Rock Studio Museum in Brownsville features a number of art works, including wood carvings, paintings of wildlife, and Biblical scenes in rock. Other exhibits include minerals, and items related to the history of the area.

Moyer House
Moyer House in Brownsville was built in 1881 by John Moyer, the town's first mayor. The house is now a museum.
