Oporto - Clérigos Tower

(Local Name: Torre dos Clérigos) Linked to the Igreja dos Clérigos is the Torre dos Clérigos, 75m/245ft high and built in 1755-63 at the expense of the Oporto clergy. It has come to be the symbol of Oporto and there is a panoramic view from the top over the city and the Douro Valley to the Atlantic coast.
