Xenia Attractions
The very unusually named city of Xenia (pronounced Zeen-yuh) bills itself as the "City of Hospitality". The city is compact and as indicated by its slogan, a friendly spot. It was founded in 1803 by Pioneer John Paul as land he purchased for 1050 pounds. Those who follow the history of tornados may recognize the city name. In 1974 a tornado flattened half the city and killed 33 people.
