Wilmot Attractions
Wilmot is a little village in Stark County sometimes described as the gateway to Amish Country. Wilmot has some old homes and a real feeling of small town charm. The Amish Door Restaurant & Village is an all in one restaurant, bakery, with shops. Be sure to stop by the Barn Shops of Amish Door.
Alpine-Alpa
Alpine-Alpa, near Wilmot, is best known for being the site of the world's largest cuckoo clock. The clock is noted in both the Guinness Book of Records and Ripley's Believe it or Not! It stands over 23 feet tall, and features hand-carved figures and sounds off on the hour and half hour.

Wilderness Center
The Wilderness Center in Wilmot is non-governmental institution run by members of the community concerned with wildlife conservation. The organization started off with volunteers, who still form the core of the center, but has grown to include hired professionals. The center manages almost 1,300 acres that include forest, meadows, marshes and prairie land. Trails run through the area allowing for close up encounters with nature. Education is a prime focus of the Wilderness Center.
