Wilberforce Attractions

Wilberforce, is a small community in Greene county. Despite its size the town is home to Central State University and Wilberforce University, both of which are historically African-American universities. Also of note in Wilberforce is National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center which offers insight into the history and culture of Afro-Americans. The museum maintains a permanent collection in addition to changing exhibits.

The National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center in Wilberforce explores the history of African Americans through a permanent exhibit as well as changing exhibits and programs. The museum's main permanent exhibit, From Victory To Freedom: Afro-American Life in the Fifties looks at the social changes and what life was like during this time period.
