Westerville Attractions

Westerville is a city where it is easy for visitors to entertain themselves. The downtown area features shopping, with art stores and galleries, a theatre, and restaurants. Some of the highlights in Westerville include the Anti-Saloon League Museum, the Frank Museum of Art, the Everal Barn and Homestead at Heritage Park, and a walk through Historic Uptown Westerville. Westerville also hosts a number of events and festivals throughout the year so be sure to check with the Visitor Bureau's calendar to find out what's going on.
Hanby House
The Hanby House in Westerville was owned by the family of composure Benjamin Russell Hanby. The home was built in the mid 19th Century and is today listed on the National Register of Historic Places. On display in the Hanby House are family memorabilia and some of the original sheet music by Hanby, including his most famous piece, Darling Nellie Gray.
Inniswood Metro Gardens
The Inniswood Metro Gardens in Westerville provide a beautiful natural setting with streams, waterfalls, wooded areas and gardens. Some of the gardens on site include the memorial garden, rock garden, rose garden, and conifer garden. Mostly, Inniswood Metro Gardens are a great place to escape and enjoy nature with something new always in bloom throughout the summer months.

Motorcycle Heritage Museum (Closed Permanently)
The Motorcycle Heritage Museum in Westerville closed. The contents of the museum was moved to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum in Pickerington.
Ross C Purdy Museum of Ceramics
The Ross C Purdy Museum of Ceramics in Westerville is a great spot to visit for those interested in the history and art of ceramics. The museum features five different exhibits including Traditional Ceramics, Advanced Ceramics, Glass, Pottery, and Sculpture. The museum has some rare and unusual pieces sure to amaze anyone who visits.
