Salem Attractions
Salem is a historic city, often referred to as the Quaker City. One of the city's claim to fame is for being the location of the first Women's Rights Convention. The city was also an important part of the Underground Railroad.
Salem Historical Society Museum
The Salem Historical Society Museum in Salem is divided among three buildings with the main building, the Pearce Building, located at 208 South Broadway. The museum is separated into themes and features a One Room School, Doctor's Office, Kitchen, Music Room, Industrial Room, Victorian Bedroom, Library, Victorian Parlor, and a Toy Room. Overall the Salem Historical Society Museum has a good collection of items from various periods that are well displayed.
