Lithopolis Attractions
The history of Lithopolis is linked to a nearby free stone quarry. One of the highlights of Lithopolis is the Tudor-Gothic style Wagnalls Memorial built from native free stone. Wagnalls Memorial functions as a community center with a library, museum, and theatre. It was built in 1925 and became the center piece of the Lithopolis community and is still the pride of the town.
Slate Run Living Historical Farm
Slate Run Living Historical Farm in Lithopolis offers visitors a chance to see what farm life was like in the 19th Century. Costumed interpreters relive the past, plowing fields with horses, tending the animals, preserving food for winter, and doing regular daily chores. The farmhouse is a mid 19th Century Gothic Revival style home.

Wagnalls Memorial
The Wagnalls Memorial site consists of a museum and library. The building was erected in 1925 and is a beautiful Tudor-Gothic structure. The Wagnalls Memorial mission is to enrich the lives of the residents of Ohio through education, culture, and the literary arts. The Wagnalls Memorial is the pride of Lithopolis, just south of Columbus.
