Lisbon Attractions
Lisbon was founded at the beginning on the 18th Century and was originally named New Lisbon Village. Some of the town's history can be seen at the Lisbon Historical Society Museums. The 1805 Old Stone House and the Old Erie Station are two of the museum's properties that have been restored and now contain historical artifacts from the town's past.
Lisbon Historical Society Museums
The Lisbon County Historical Society operates two properties which together form the basis of the Historical Society Museum. The 1805 Old Stone House and the Old Erie Station have both been beautifully restored and are used to house the society's collection of artifacts. The Old Stone House is thought to be the oldest existing stone house in Ohio.
