Lima Attractions
Located in Allen County, Lima is a pleasant community with good shopping opportunities. Some of the historical and cultural attractions in Lima and the surrounding area include the Lima Fire Fighters Memorial Museum, the Allen County Museum, the MacDonell House Victorian Mansion, and the Lima Symphony Orchestra.
Throughout the summer months Lima also hosts numerous events and festivals including the Italian Festival and the Square Fair, a three day arts festival.

Allen County Museum
The Allen County Museum in Lima offers displays on the history of Lima and Allen County. There is also a children's area, library, archives, and auditorium space at the museum. A range of themes are covered at the Allen County Museum including art, transportation, Native American history, agriculture, archeology, minerals, and more.
MacDonell House
MacDonell House in Lima is a late 19th Century Victorian home. The interior is beautifully furnished in period with much wood work and attention to detail. One of the more unique rooms in the MacDonell house is the trophy room with a strange collection of stuffed animals. In total the house boast seventeen rooms including the ballroom on the third floor.
