Greenville Attractions
The town of Greenville has a long history. It was originally the site of Fort Greenville, built in 1793 to help gain control of the Great Northwest Territory. The town of Greenville as it is know today was established in the first half of the 19th Century, and much of the architecture from that time period can still be seen.
The area is also known for one of its former residents, Annie Oakley.
