Fremont Attractions
Not to be confused with the city in the San Francisco area, Fremont Ohio is known as the home of the 19th President of the United States, Rutherford B. Hayes. The city is also home to the site of Fort Stephenson that boasts of completely intact armory. The city is on the Sandusky River and the riverfront areas are pleasant places to linger.
Hayes Presidential Center
The Hayes Presidential Center in Fremont is the former home of Rutherford B. Hayes first elected President of the United States in 1877. The center consists of two buildings, the Hayes Home and the Hayes Museum. Tours of one or both building are available year round. A tour of the home takes approximately 45 minutes and a tour of the museum is self-guided.

Memorial Monument
The Memorial Monument in Fremont is a tribute to all those who have fought in US wars. On site is a historic cannon from Fort Stephenson.
