Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area

South of Cleveland is the popular Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area, a 22 mi. stretch of country along the Cuyahoga River that has been restored to its original state. Through the northern part of the park runs the old Ohio and Erie Canal. To the south of Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area is Hale Farm, an open-air museum with restored early 19th c. houses in which old crafts are demonstrated.
