Bucyrus Attractions
The midwest town of Bucyrus proclaims itself to be the Bratwurst capital of the world and tries to maintain a sense of old America. Visitors to Bucyrus will also find painted murals on the sides of buildings, shops, and the town's famous hand-hammered copper kettles.

D Picking & Company in Bucyrus has been owned and operated by the same family since it began in 1874. The most significant aspect of the D Picking & Company is that the building and operation has changed almost not at all since it opened. The building has not been restored or the interior even painted since that time. Some of the same pictures hang on the walls. The only major change was addition of phone and electrical service.
The company makes copper kettles and copper goods, same as it has for over a hundred years.
