Berea is a pleasant town with a strong arts scene. Each year the town hosts the Berea Arts Fest, an invitational arts festival, showcasing a wide range of artists.
One of the towns more scenic areas is Coe Lake with a huge pavilion, walking areas, and frequently the location of concerts and other events.

Mahler Museum & History Center
The Mahler Museum, located in an 1854 Berea standstone building, houses the Berea Historical Society. The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. On display in one of the rooms are special exhibits.
