Paint Valley Skyline Drives
A nice way to spend the day around Bainbridge is to get in a car and explore the Paint Valley Skyline Drives. These four drives are self guided and particularly beautiful in the fall when the leaves are changing color. The Paint Valley Skyline Drives take visitors past some of the main highlights in the area and one passes through the Pike Lake State Park.
Seip Mound State Memorial
Seip Mound, located in Seip Mound State Memorial, lies east of Bainbridge. It is one of many mounds created by the Hopewell Indians between approximately 100 BC and AD 500. Seip Mound measure 240 feet long, 130 feet wide, and 30 feet high and is at the center of a group of earthworks.

There is also evidence that other ancient Indian buildings stood at this location. Visitors can learn about Seip Mound and the culture of the Hopewell Indians by visiting this site.
