Archbold Attractions
The village of Archbold has a strong German, Swiss, and French ancestry. Some of the highlights for visitors to Archibald include the Historic Sauder Village, a living history museum, as well as numerous shops and restaurants. One of the towns annual events is the Festival of Lights in Ruihley Park which begins after Thanksgiving and runs through to New Years.
Historic Sauder Village
A visit to historic Sauder Village in Archbold is like stepping back in time. Costumed interpreters perform the tasks of a bygone era. Unlike other historical villages, Sauder Village has onsite accommodation in authentic, yet modern rooms. Also on site is a fine restaurant and a variety of interesting shops.

Oberhaus Enterprises' Cars & Collectibles (closed)

Oberhaus Enterprises' Cars & Collectibles located in Archbold holds a fine collection of early Americana. Antique cars and other collectibles fill the buildings and impress visitors. One car of particular note is a dark cherry red 1927 Pierce-Arrow Opera Coupe. It is the first car a visitor sees upon entering the lobby. Oberhaus Enterprises' Cars & Collectibles also has an interesting collection of dolls and carriages for those less impressed by automobiles.
