Fort Buenaventura State Park Description
Fort Buenaventura State Park on the Weber River is located in Ogden, 35mi/56km north of Salt Lake City. The fort is on a 32 acre site that was once the first permanent Anglo settlement in the Great Basin. The fort was established in the 1840's by Miles Goodyear.
