Allen Memorial Art Museum
The Allen Memorial Art Museum (AMAM) in Oberlin is located in a beautiful Italian Renaissance-style building. The museum is part of the Oberlin College and displays some 12,000 works of art. The collection covers art from around the world and all time periods but is noted for its 17 Century Dutch and Flemish art, as well as European and American collections of nineteenth and early twentieth-century art.
In addition to the fine permanent collection at the Allen Memorial Art Museum, numerous temporary exhibitions are also featured throughout the year.
