Santa Maria Asunción Tlaxiaco
Continue along the MEX 125 for 45km/28mi beyond San Pedro y San Pablo to reach Santa Maria Asunción Tlaxiaco. The convent here is dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and dates from 1550. Of note are the church's plain Plateresque façade and Gothic vault; the altars inside are Neo-Classical.
