Green Mill & Science Centre Description
Green's Mill was once home of the mathematical

physicist, George Green (1793-1841). The mill was built by George's father in 1807, and destroyed by fire in 1947. Staff at Nottingham University start a fund to preserve the tower as a monument to George Green, it is completed in 1985 with the addition of a science centre.
