Londonderry - Eastern Scenic Villages Attractions

The circular tour of Giant's Causeway and the Antrim Coast takes in a number of scenic towns, including: Coleraine, Portstewart and Ballycastle. The A 2 runs east through the charming villages of Eglinton and Ballykelly to Limavady (18mi/29km; on the left the new Foyle Bridge), an old town in the Roe valley.
Antrim Coast, Northern Ireland
The road from Ballycastle to Cushendall, passing the famous Glens of Antrim, is the most beautiful coastal road in Ireland. From Cushendall it is possible to continue along the coast to Belfast (48mi/76km) or alternatively to return to Derry by the very attractive inland road via Glenariff (A 43), Kilrea and Dungiven.
Arthur Cottage
The cottage is where the forebears of Chester Alan Arthur once lived. It features displays of rural life in the past and the story of Arthur's Presidency. During summer times, there are craft demonstrations.
