Nimes - Gypsy and Jazz Festivals

(Local Name: Mosaiques Gitans) This annual festival takes place in July and includes gypsy dancing displays and jazz concerts. Gypsy troupes from throughout Europe gather to exhibit their local styles for one week. This festival is followed by a jazz festival in the third week of July. Famous American and European musicians take time out to perform in this quaint village.
