Nîmes - Musée du Vieux Nîmes

In Nîmes, opposite Notre-Dame et St- Castor to the south stands the former Bishop's Palace, in which is housed the Musée du Vieux Nîmes with its collection of regional history and also the adjoining Musée Taurin (Bullfighting Museum). Of interest in the museum, which developed from the private ethnological collection of Henri Beaucquier, are products of local textile manufacture no longer carried on in the town, as well as furniture from Provence and Languedoc, arts and crafts, etc.
