Radstädter Tauern - Ski Areas

The Radstädter Tauern, particularly the hills north of the main range, are popular for skiing. The best slopes are to be found in the Wagrain winter sports area, with the Wagrainer Haus and the "Wagrainer Walk" (taking in six peaks), the wide expanse of country around the Trappenkarsee, in the largest high corrie in the Salzburg Alps, and the area around the Radstädter Tauern pass (1,738m/5,702ft).
