Radstädter Tauern

The western end of the Niedere Tauern is formed by the Radstädter Tauern, extending from the Murtörl to the Radstädter Tauern pass, with boldly shaped peaks such as the Hohes Weisseck (2,712m/8,898ft) and the Mosermandl (2,680m/8,793ft). Both of these command extensive views and are relatively easy to climb, but being so far from any of the larger towns and villages in the valleys they attract few climbers.
