Tennis is a sport enjoyed today by many Cypriots as well as by many visitors to the island.
Tennis courts are available in all towns as well as in most hotels and hotel apartment complexes. Most of these tennis courts are all-weather and flood-lighted.

Nicosia Race Club
Nicosia has a buoyant racing set-up, with regular crowds. Racing takes place at the only racecourse on the island, where 50-55 races are held throughout the year.
Betting operates at town betting offices and the racecourse on race days, under the control of the Nicosia Race Club.

Nicosia Shooting Club (Cyprus Olympic Range)
The Olympic shooting range is located in the Lakkia area, 8km / 5mi southwest from the city center, near the Nicosia - Limassol Highway. It was completed in 1989 and is considered one of the best in Europe.

Nicosiana Ice Skating Centre
The Nicosia Ice Skating Center is open seven days a week. Its visitors enjoy a year-round temperature of 20 degrees C. and skate rentals are available. There is a restaurant and cafeteria facilities on the premises.
