Nice - Prieuré du Vieux Logis

From the eastern side of the university quarter the dead-straight boulevard Gambetta in Nice and its continuation the boulevard de Cessole lead north to the district of St Barthélemy. In a 16th C. building, the Prieuré du Vieux Logis, on the avenue St Barthélemy (no.59), objects from the 14th to 16th C. have been assembled to represent what the interior rooms of houses would have looked like from towards the end of the Middle Ages: study, dining room, a complete fitted kitchen, etc.; French artisans' work and paintings of the French and Flemish schools are also to be seen.
