Nice - Jardin Albert I

The Jardin Albert I in Nice is the park-like area between the Avenue des Phocéens and the Avenue de Verdun; here is situated the Théâtre de Verdure (open-air theater). The gardens extend north as far as the busy Place Masséna, where the Fontaine du Soleil, and a fine fountain are to be seen. To the north extends the busy Avenue Jean Médecin, one of the principal shopping streets in the city, in which further north still stands the neo-Gothic Church of Notre-Dame.
