Niagara Falls - Prospect Park

Prospect Park flanks the Falls on the American side, from which there is a fine view. Here the Observation Tower rises above the bottom of the gorge, offering magnificent panoramic prospects. Elevators run down to the landing stage from which the "Maid of the Mist" departs. From the foot of the tower wooden gangways run below Prospect Point to the American Falls. On the upper rim of the gorge, across the road, is the New York State Parks Visitor Center.
