Newburgh - Washington's Headquarters State Historic Site
This historic site was General George Washington's headquarters from 1782 to 1783 and the site where Washington ordered the end of the Revolutionary War. The Huasbrouck House, built 1750, is set up as a military headquarter. Nearby is a 6 acre park with the 1887 Tower of Victory monument.
