Watertown Attractions

The Jefferson County Historical Society Museum is housed in the Paddock Mansion, circa 1878. There are many items on display including Victorian furnishings, decorative art, American Indian artifacts, and Civil War memorabilia. The grounds feature a recreated Victorian garden and a carriage barn that contains antique cars and farm tools.

The Sci-Tech Center of Northern New York is a hands-on science museum featuring light, sound and electricity exhibits.

A 35 acre zoo, tennis and swimming facilities as well as a playground are featured within Thompson Park Conservancy.
