Saratoga Springs Attractions

With its handsome 19th c. spa facilities (in Saratogo State Park) and other amenities Saratoga Springs, north of Albany on I 87, is a very fashionable resort. During the high season (June to August) there are race meetings, and leading dramatic companies from New York and Philadelphia put on shows in the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.
The town features over 1,000 examples of Victorian architecture in eight historic districts. As a resort area, it is gaining popularity as a sports and convention center. Harness racing and polo are popular activities.
Congress Park
Congress Park features an Italian sculpture garden and sculptures by Daniel Chester French. The Walworth Memorial Museum presents the story of a Saratoga family whose family members include authors, lawyers and a murderer.
