Salamanca Attractions
Traditional arts and crafts keep the Iroqouis heritage alive in Salamanca.
The Salamanca Rail Museum is housed in a fully restored passenger depot constructed in 1912. Artifacts, videos and photographs depict the role of the railroad in area history. The grounds have a display of a box car, a coach, a crew camp car, and children can explore the two cabooses.

Some of the permanent exhibits at the Seneca Iroquois National Museum include clan animal displays, the partially reconstructed Longhouse, and a rebuilt log cabin. Traditional materials, artifacts and modern Iroquois Art are also on display.
