Natural Stone Bridge and Caves is a series of caves, rock formations and underground waterways. Visitors can tour the caves on a well-marked path.
The massive stone bridge arch was originally known as Bridge of God, named by Spanish explorers.
Just 23 miles north of Lake George in the Adirondack mountains, is Natural Stone Bridge and Caves where visitors can hikeon a self-guided tour to explore the largest cave entrance in the East, waterfalls, gorge, lighted caves and much more. Guided adventure tours which includes a "cave float" are available at an additional cost.
Visitors can also enjoy gemstone mining, Frisbee golf, bouldering walls, dino digs, crystal quest and gold rush mines, the Adirondack Memories Museum, PBS Video presentations, fish feeding, picnic areas with grills , covered pavilions, playgrounds and a rock shop.
