Lockport Attractions
Lockport was named for the original locks, built in 1825, which can be seen from an observation point on Pine Street Bridge or from the narrated boat cruises that travel the canal. Lockport has one of the widest bridges in the world. The Canal Museum displays canal photographs and memorabilia.
Kenan Center
Located on a 25 acre estate, the Kenan Center features a restored carriage house that houses the Taylor Theater. Kenan House is a restored 1859 mansion with an art gallery and formal gardens.

Lockport Cave and Underground Boat Ride
The tour of Lockport Cave includes walking through the cave and an underground boat tour. Visitors can view the Erie Canal locks, and a 1,600 foot tunnel that was blasted in 1838. Visitors to Lockport Cave will discover stalactites, flow stone, geological formations and artifacts left behind by the men who built the tunnel.

Lockport Locks and Erie Canal Cruises
Narrated Erie Canal cruises take passengers past the original 1825 locks, through working locks and locking down is experienced on the return trip. The Canal Heritage Interpretive Center has exhibits, photographs and artifacts on display.
Niagara County Historical Society Museum
The Niagara County Historical Society Museum is devoted to county history with exhibits that include businesses, farm equipment, Civil War items and Iroquois Indian artifacts.
