Howe Caverns are prehistoric caverns that are 160 to 200 feet underground. They maintain a constant temperature of 52 degrees. Guided tours begin with an elevator ride to the caverns and then travel along pathways through chambers of stalactites and stalagmites.

Archeological, historical, Iroquois artwork and a children's museum are all part of the Iroquois Indian Museum. Displays are devoted to the Iroquois people, their culture and preserving their heritage in areas such as politics, hunting, warfare, games, and chieftainship for men. The children's museum features hands-on exhibits where Iroquois traditions are introduced.
