Coxsackie Attractions
Coxsackie was an exclusive Dutch settlement, from the late 1600s to 1790. The name comes from an American Indian word meaning "hoot of an owl".
Downtown Coxsackie has maintained its historic appearance and the Reed Street Historic District was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Bronck Museum
This house is the oldest surviving dwelling in Upstate New York. It was built in 1663 and is furnished with Federal, Empire, and Victorian furniture as well as china, glass and silver from several generations of Broncks. The "west wing loft" houses a collection of regional textiles, as well as weaving and spinning equipment.
