Coxsackie Attractions

Coxsackie was an exclusive Dutch settlement, from the late 1600s to 1790. The name comes from an American Indian word meaning "hoot of an owl".

Downtown Coxsackie has maintained its historic appearance and the Reed Street Historic District was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
